Dr. Barth is a graduate of the University of Maryland and the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and has served on its Board of Directors since 1996. Dr. Barth is also a member of the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians (NJSOP) and the Central Jersey Optometric Society, having served as President of both associations. He has received numerous awards throughout his many years of practice, including the NJSOP's Optometrist of the Year in 1994 and their highest achievement award, the E. C. Nurock Award, in 1998.
In addition to practicing at Allied Vision Services since 1974, Dr. Barth is also adjunct staff at St. Francis Hospital in Trenton.
Dr. Kolber has been in private practice at Allied Vision Services since 1977. He is a graduate of Temple University and the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Dr. Kolber is a member of the Corneal and Contact Lens Section of American Optometric Association, as well as the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians, and the International Society of Refractive Surgery.
Dr. Neiheiser earned an engineering degree from Rutgers University and is a 1991 graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He is a member of the Cornea and Contact Lens Section of the American Optometric Association, the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians, the Central Jersey Optometric Society, and the National Glaucoma Society. He is a volunteer optometrist in the "Seeing to Read", "Vision USA" , the "InfantSEE" program, which promotes no-cost eye examinations for children under 1 year of age. He also was voted "One of the Best Optometrists" in the area by the Trentonian in 2003.
Dr. Alexander McGowan is a 1985 graduate of the University of Scranton where he earned his bachelor's degree in biochemistry. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1990. Dr. McGowan is a member of the American Optometric Society, the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians and he is the current President of the Central Jersey Optometric Physicians Society.
Dr. McGowan joined the Allied Vision staff in Flemington in September 1990 and the Robbinsville staff in February 2000. He resides in Robbinsville with his wife and three sons.
Dr. Tobias graduated from Trenton State College in 1980 and received his doctor of optometry degree from Illinois College of Optometry in 1984. He is a long-standing member of the American Optometric Society, the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians and the Pennsylvania Optometric Association. He is Past President and Past Vice President of the Central Jersey Optometric Society and is also a member of the Bucks/Montgomery County Optometric Society. He is also active in the Bordentown Lions Club.
Dr. John Russo is a 1986 graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, where he also earned his B.S. degree. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians, and the Central Jersey Optometric Society. He was a staff optometrist at HIP of New Jersey and Pinnacle Medical Group before joining Allied Vision Services in 1999. Prior to becoming an optometrist, he was a certified respiratory therapist.
