Dr. Neiheiser earned an engineering degree from Rutgers University and is a 1991 graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He is a member of the Cornea and Contact Lens Section of the American Optometric Association, the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians, and the National Glaucoma Society. He chairs the Dr. Leslie Mintz Scholarship Committee, which awards money to deserving optometry students from NJ. He volunteers for the "InfantSEE" program, which promotes no-cost eye examinations for children under 1 year of age. He also was voted "One of the Best Optometrists" in the area by the Trentonian. Dr. Neiheiser truly enjoys serving the local community where he and his family reside.
Dr. Hwang graduated with honors from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in 2016. She is widely experienced in ocular disease, contact lenses, pediatrics, and binocular vision/vision therapy, having completed her clinical externships across the northeast. She is an active member of the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians, American Optometric Association, National Optometric Association, Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society, and Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society. In addition to having served these organizations on several boards both locally and internationally, Dr. Hwang enjoys volunteering in the community. She has spent time overseas in Haiti providing eye care to underserved populations and gives eye exams every summer to athletes at Special Olympics NJ held at The College of New Jersey, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in biology and fine arts minor in 2012. She sees patients in the Plainsboro office.
